The snow is melting, the birds are singing and the cars are creating this lovely mist resulting in a polka dot camera and sunglasses. Having lived in Calgary for the past 8 years I’d forgotten how early Spring starts here. Or that there is one for that matter! (Sorry Sandi, but it’s true. We have spring here). It’s already warm now and from what I’ve been told and remember there isn’t much danger of another cold snap and blizzard. And it’s only February.

While that might be a bit optimistic, I’ll remind you that I just came back to the Okanagan from Calgary. Enough said? Good. I like it here. I’m glad to be home.

I had the privelege last weekend of shooting a music school recital. Sounds exciting right? Well, to charge it up a bit, all of the students “recited” songs performed by the rock band Queen. And to get you excited about what it really was, it was an all out, full performance by the students of Wentworth Music called “Under Pressure: A Tribute to Queen”.
